This is the 34th year Pete Cardinal has guided fly fishermen exclusively on the Missouri River Below Holter Dam. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries from Michigan State University and a Master’s degree in Fisheries Management from Montana State University he was hired as the first biologist on this famous blue-ribbon stretch of river. He fell in love with the quality and quantity of trout and the excellent dry fly fishing. In 1983 Pete started Missouri River Angler to help introduce other anglers to this fly fishing mecca. With nearly three decades of experience and dedication to the Missouri River and its trout Pete Cardinal is widely recognized as the river’s senior expert.
